Please read these terms carefully before exploring our gallery, ordering original handmade paintings, or requesting a custom order.
1. Overview & Acceptance
This website (anjoriarts.com) is operated by Anjori Arts ("we", "us", or "our"). Throughout the site, the terms "you" and "customer" refer to the user browsing or purchasing from our platform. By visiting our site and/or purchasing handmade Indian art from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
You must be at least 18 years old, or using this site under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms, to place an order.

3. Handmade Authenticity & Subtle Variations
All paintings, drawings, and handcrafted earrings displayed on Anjori Arts are original works made entirely by hand by Jyotsna Sharma, on canvas, wood, fabric and silk, cloth and sarees, floors, pots and glass. Tanjore work is finished with genuine 22K gold foil or gold-tone foil, as you choose at order time.
Because each piece is individually hand-drawn, subtle nuances in line brushwork and texture are hallmarks of genuine authenticity and should not be considered defects.
4. Copyright & Intellectual Property Rights
Purchasing a physical painting or custom piece transfers physical ownership of that specific artwork to the buyer. All intellectual property, moral rights, and reproduction copyrights remain exclusively with Anjori Arts and the respective artist.
Artwork may not be photographed for commercial reproduction, mass-reprinted, scanned into NFT mints, or used in commercial merchandising without explicit written license from Anjori Arts.
5. Pricing, Shipping & Payments via Razorpay
• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) and are the final price shown at checkout. Anjori Arts is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
• Delivery charges: Standard pan-India shipping is complimentary on all orders ₹1,999 and above. A flat ₹99 delivery fee applies to orders below ₹1,999.
• Payments are processed securely through RBI-compliant gateway Razorpay. We do not store or process debit/credit card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.
• We reserve the right to revise catalog prices or discontinue artwork offerings at any time without prior notice.
• Discount codes apply to the shopping bag only, never to Custom Orders, and have no cash value. Unless stated otherwise, one code may be used once per account, and some codes are for a first order only. A code is removed and its use restored if the order it was applied to is cancelled.

6. Custom Orders & Milestone Approvals
For custom paintings, production begins upon mutual agreement on design sketch, dimensions, and receipt of a 50% upfront deposit. We share milestone preview photographs during creation for client approval prior to varnishing. The remaining 50% balance is payable upon approval before dispatch. If a Custom Order is cancelled after you have paid, we refund what you paid less the payment processing cost Razorpay keeps on every payment. If work has already started, we also keep, from the deposit only, what covers materials already bought and work already done, and tell you what it covered. Any balance you paid is refunded less only its processing cost. If you ask us to stop a Custom Order that has already shipped and it comes back to us, we also keep what we spent sending it to you. Transit damage reported as described here is refunded in full. Once dispatched, custom orders are non-returnable, except for transit damage: If your artwork arrives damaged in transit, we refund the full amount you paid. Report it with photos of the parcel and the artwork, or an unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery. See our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.
7. Collector Stories Licence
If you share photos or text of your artwork for our Collector Stories, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them on the site, always with credit to you. You can ask us to remove your submission at any time by contacting us.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your order is capped at the order value. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, or government action. Our obligations are suspended, not waived, for the duration of such an event.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Puducherry, India.
